Not all cotton is produced ethically; some is grown using forced labour and is banned from import into most manufacturing countries. Despite these restrictions, such cotton often still enters the supply chain, typically blended with other fibres to conceal its origin. Oritain uses forensic science to ensure that our selvedge denim contains none of these banned materials. Their advanced analytical techniques can trace fibres back to the exact farm they came from.
