The Annual 2nd Grade Trashion Fashion show was a hit…as always! The 2nd graders learned all about conservation and then passed that knowledge onto their audience—and looked great doing it! A huge thank you to Mrs. Schott, Ms Sue, Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Walsh, and all of the amazing parent volunteers that helped make this year another success! #savetheearth🌏 #childrenarethefuture #trashionfashion #WeAreD11
Howbert fifth graders had the opportunity to tour the sfdiscoverycenter on Friday! They learned about space missions (like the Artemis II that will hopefully be launching next month!), rocketry, and even launched their own rockets. They also got to explore the whole gallery and take part in a scavenger hunt. It was a BLAST 🚀

Calling all dads! PTO needs some volunteers to make the Gals & Granola event happen. It is this Friday, March 20th 6:45 (or 7:00) to 8am. Can you help? Reply here or email [email protected]. Thank you!
🥅 🏒 Last week in PE, students learned about the Paralympic Games and played para “ice” hockey.
Did you know that this fast-paced and barrier-shattering sport has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1994?
Congratulations to the Howbert Hornet basketball teams on an amazing bball season! They played hard, learned a lot of new skills, demonstrated teamwork and were just plain awesome! We are so proud of you, Hornets! #weared11
Next time you’re in the Howbert office, be sure to check out our 🍂Outdoor Learning Tracker!🌿
Our aspen tree (painted--by hand--by Mr. Lefere!) grows a new leaf every time a class takes learning outdoors. It’s a fun, interactive way to celebrate and track all the opportunities our students have to get outside and learn!
