CHERENKOV GLOW, my entry for @super_meteor ’s 2026 My Famicase Exhibition 📡
I only had a day to concept and design this, so I made it as self-indulgent as possible: a decision-based mystery RPG set at a Soviet nuclear reactor in the early 80’s. It was so much fun to make.
I’m #177 and you can see my physical cartridge at their space in Tokyo.

Crabbing has been my favorite thing I’ve learned in the past couple of years. I think everyone should try hunting or fishing - it’s intrinsic to us as a species and important in order to maintain our connection to nature, the land, and the food chain. Catching and eating your own food is the most sustainable and ethical way to do it. We’re very lucky in the Bay Area to be able to have access to the sea in this way, and I’m always telling people how easy it is to get into crabbing. I’ll take anyone out who wants to go! And, as always, I wouldn’t have half the knowledge as a fisherman I do without the generations of uncles at the piers and jetties who have been patient and welcoming to me. 🦀🧡
I wanted to make some illustrations about it! I would love to do more of these for editorial or publishing.
