Looking back at 100 episodes of Live@Expo : Over the course of 6 months, Live@Expo had 470,000 live views across Twitch, Youtube, and Facebook, and 15 million VOD. Our expert guides visited 300 pavilions and food stops throughout the Expo grounds. Last but certainly not least, Live@Expo was nominated for a Producers Guild of America Innovation Award. Last October we launched a six month journey through Expo 2020 in Dubai. It’s an interactive live stream series where the audience controls an onsite guide exploring the Expo and broadcasting their adventures using a small camera and backpack-based streaming hardware. The audience is collectively working together to complete a goal to create the future, unlocking badges and contributing to Expo’s larger seeds of change initiative that will give real monetary donations to the causes the audience choose.
The groundbreaking aspect of this series is that all engagement is gamified and viewers participation directly ties into their position on an ongoing leaderboard. The audience can communicate directly with the Guide by typing comments into a chat window, creating a feedback loop that leads to exciting quests, captivating interviews, and a global community of participants. Live @ Expo is cross-streaming on Twitch, Youtube, and Facebook.

* Viewership: The Live @ Expo team has received over 50 million impressions and 6 million views across 58 of the 100 episodes and we expect this number to double.
