What an epic day of fun on the water down in Punta Fuego for the worldwide launch of the new @hoverair_global #HoverAirAqua. The very first fully waterproof flying camera!
This thing is amazing, not only is it fully sealed and IP67 waterproof, check out some of the stats that I found most impressive:
4k/100fps
1/1.3” cmos camera with HDR
Only 249gm (don’t need a drone license in most countries)
Top speed of 55km/hr (check the 2nd Jetski video)
Level 7 wind resistance (30knots, perfect for kiteboarding!)
23min battery
Comes with the “Lighthouse” tracking band and RTK tracking tech that is accurate to within centimeters.
Floats, and can land and launch from the water.
Also controllable by your phone or optional controller
Hydrophobic, self warming lens that never fogs.
And so much more…
Honestly, coming from a watersports guy like me who has lost a drone to the ocean in the past, this piece of tech is perfect. I can’t wait try it out kiteboarding!
