so what you’re about to experience is exactly what I felt in that moment.
There was a stillness in the room… not empty, but full.
The kind of peace you don’t try to understand, you just feel it settle over you.
Elegance.
Synergy.
Beauty.
Grace… that word kept circling back, like it belonged to every stitch.
You could feel it… an artist and a team moving as one.
A collection so deeply rooted in South Africa, it didn’t just walk the runway, it held you there.
The structure of the blazers, the detail in every piece… it didn’t just dress the body, it wrapped itself around your senses.
And then… it ended.
Silence.
No phones. No chatter. Just a room suspended in something we didn’t want to break.
Until the intercom gently reminded us… “it’s over.”
Only then did the applause arrive, like a wave finally allowed to crash.
That silence said everything.
Thank you for that moment.

More than a career, for the founder of @houseofole , Ole Ledimo, fashion is a destiny deeply rooted in his heritage.
Looking back at old family photo albums filled with sharp suits and meticulous tailoring, he realized that his parents saw his artistic spark early on, and dressed him accordingly - his artistic fate was sealed.
Raised on a diet of painting and art, his journey to reinventing his childhood into wearable art on the runway was simply a matter of time.
