The Midnight Stroll Collection is inspired by the calm, reflective feeling of walking under the moon at night. Created in Rhino8 and rendered in Keyshot, It’s meant to emulate the dreamlike elegance of wandering through a moonlit garden in an otherworldly moment where nature feels suspended between a quiet serenity and enchantment. The pieces combine moth, moon, and lotus motifs to create a soft, natural elegance. The necklace features a chain of intertwined gold vines with spatterings of warm lotus blossoms and phases of the moon. At the center, a pale green moth rests on a full moon form, tying the whole theme together. The design suggests the gentle movement of nature at night. The ring echoes the same elements on a smaller scale. Lotus flowers and leaves rise around the band, leading up to a moth perched at the top. It feels like a small moment from the necklace captured in a single piece. The motifs were chosen for their quiet symbolism: the lotus for growth, the moon for calm, and the moth for following light down a garden path. My final ring design for a 3D modeling competition!! So happy with how this turned out. Based on the theme “afterglow” I went the route of a piece based on the afterglow of fireflies. Such amazing childhood memories of chasing fireflies at night and I wanted to capture that in this piece. The moon flowers and lantern all are reflections of the nighttime theme.
