I started this profession not because of survival, not because of what I was going to eat tomorrow, or because I wanted to put food on the table. I started because I genuinely love it. Makeup is something I love so deeply.
The journey hasn’t been easy. It has been a roller coaster, but through it all, I am grateful to God for where I am today.
This moment reminds me of some years ago when I went for a bridal job. At that time, I didn’t have a good phone. The photographer at the event was using an iPhone, and I approached him, asking if I could borrow it briefly to take some pictures and videos of my work. From his response and attitude, it was obvious he couldn’t allow that, so I quietly withdrew.
Honestly, I wasn’t happy that day.
But today, I am grateful to God. I may not yet have the kind of phone I truly want, but I am grateful for the one I have now. I am grateful for the space I am currently in, knowing fully well that God is in control of what is coming next. God is in control of my future and my new space.
And yes, I am rest assured that the Owner of tomorrow has good plans for me.
I may not be there yet, but I am grateful. This is me making this video with my own phone, appreciating every stage of the process. It is indeed a journey, and everything will surely be alright.
With all sincerity, I am grateful to everyone who has supported this journey so far. Everyone who has mentioned my name in rooms of opportunities, everyone who has recommended me, encouraged me, and supported my brand thank you.
We are not there yet, but by God’s grace, we will surely get there.
It is God, and I am grateful for the gift of men.
