2026 Grand National Roadster Show! Dennis Troggio’s Lowlight Ghia, built by Type One Restorations (AZ), won the highly coveted Al Slonaker Memorial Award class.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mr. Takashi Komori, founder of FLAT4 Japan, on May 1, 2026. A true pioneer of the vintage Volkswagen world, Mr. Komori dedicated his life to preserving and promoting air-cooled VW culture through FLAT4’s restoration parts, events, and passion for authenticity. His influence reached enthusiasts around the globe and inspired generations of Volkswagen lovers. Beyond his achievements, he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support of the VW community. He will be deeply missed by friends and enthusiasts worldwide.
