🌟 Join Hot Crowd for a Day of Movement + Meaning 🌟
What’s better than Hot Shop? A Hot Shop in collaboration with St. Louis based RESILIENCE Dance Company! Join Hot Crowd’s Co-Directors Devon Lloyd and Brittany Latta McMahon and RDC’s Artistic Director Emily Haussler in a workshop exploring their recent split bill show Once Here, Still Moving debuted in STL April 24-25 and showcased in Chicago May 28-31 at Theater Wit.
This workshop will explore the thematic prompt of space, place, and time by defining our embodied histories and how it shapes our present selves. From contemporary partnering to athletic floorwork, emergent movement to collaborative images, quirky gestures to high-caliber contemporary-modern technique - participants can expect a full, riveting afternoon of dance in Hot Crowd’s final Hot Shop of the season.
