Hot cross cons ! / Reflective buns
I’m not very good at being consistent, but when it comes to hot cross buns, I feel like I absolutely have to bake them every Easter.
This time last year, I was in a difficult place and I really needed my family and friends back home. Baking my hot cross buns made me feel so at ease and so connected to my people back in the UK.
This year, amongst a couple of house moves and a few new jobs, I’m so happy I found the time to bake. I feel so grounded when I do and it’s so good to be reminded to slow down and appreciate the ordinary.

🥭 BBQ chicky and lamb kofta with Amba
