Our latest production, A Cinematic Affair, was more than a performance — it was a full creative journey. ✨ For our audience, it offered a nostalgic trip through iconic movie moments across the decades. But for our students, it was an education in versatility — exploring every era and style of dance while deepening their understanding of performance and storytelling. Under the direction of Michelle Hopper, who curated every element from concept and choreography to costume and screen design, students experienced firsthand what it takes to bring a production to life. Working alongside acting coach Scott Johnson and vocal coach Vanessa Krummenacher, they developed not only as performers but as true artists — learning how to connect, adapt, and become the kind of performers that are hirable time and time again. Her credits include Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, Happy Feet, The Masked Singer Australia, Dancing with the Stars, and performances alongside some of the biggest names in the business. This is a 60-minute live show for children up to age 8, built around four lead characters, each representing a season, each with equal weight, heart, and their own journey: 🌱 WINDY — Keeper of Spring ☀️ SUNNY — Keeper of Summer 🍂 BLAZE — Keeper of Autumn ❄️ CHILL — Keeper of Winter It’s full of original music, colour, and emotion. It’s the kind of show I wish had existed when I was growing up. We’ve assembled a world-class team to bring Season Squad to life! A look back at the last 3 years of Dinner & Show at The Pink Flamingo. From Moulin Rouge to Chicago, from A Cinematic Affair — a journey through movie greats — to cabaret-inspired productions and celebrations of iconic pop artists… We’ve explored it all. A space where our dancers step into performance, not competition. Where the focus is on artistry, storytelling, and entertainment. Easily one of our favourite events on the calendar.
