Karen walked up to our booth at the Villain Arts convention and asked if I had Peggy Hill/Peg Bundy stickers… I told her I did not but she was the lightning strike that finally got me to make some.
She came in today to get this sunflower and the conversation was almost more fun than doing the tattoo.

Sunday's Grand Opening Party at @acecustomtattoo was such an amazing day!
Not only was it an open house for the tattoo studio, but it was also an opportunity to display the other art we create.
One of my many goals was to a design part of the shop to be suitable as a gallery space. The hallway into the basement has become exactly that. While I'm not projecting what is next, I am pursuing the opportunity to exhibit art that will be available for purchase. The space is limited and intimate. It will have to be very different from the gallery I ran at Twenty-Two (for those who remember that era). I have missed regularly curating walls of art... it's a unique accomplishment. I plan to be doing it often at our new location.
For Sunday, @ablack_art@badgerchad_tattoos@joeymfvernon@hookermedia and I pulled some originals out of our archives, and now have them on display and for sale. There are also some prints available.

We are very proud of our space, so in an effort to get you to come check it out, you have to purchase these works in person.
We are displaying this collection for "some" weeks. (or until they sell)
There is a plan for frequent rotation of original art that will be for sale. It is crucial for the shop to be a living creature. I want people to know that there is always a new experience to be had inside our walls.
