@dudleymarketvenice !
Inspired by Dudley Market's line-caught fresh fish menu, natural wine program, and the feel good attachments many of us have to coffee/wine, it is my honor to announce, Hooked Coffee + Wine!
Additionally inspired by the amazing offerings of natural wines from all over the world, I am super pumped to focus on a natural process coffee program!
Natural coffees are often responsible for getting folks "hooked" into specialty coffee, so it'll be really fun to source naturals from my friends around the globe!
My goal is for Hooked to serve as a conduit for community and reeling in new specialty coffee fans with "A-ha!" moments! It's been fun to see the memes about how every Barista remembers their first natural. It's a true story! I can't wait to do my best to deliver that experience to Venice and all it's visitors.
This is a project is right around the corner from where I live. I'm elated to be back on the west side of LA and in Venice. Home.

I'm so geeked-out already learning so much about our new dinner menu from Diego, tuna fishing, and natural wine. I can't wait to share inparticular how the worlds of coffee and wine parallel. The goal being to raise awareness and appreciation for the whole coffee supply chain.
I feel really lucky to be working with Dune Coffee Roasters as my go-to coffee roaster in developing a blend of naturals just for Hooked. Currently I have an Ethiopia/Colombia situation that is bangorang!
I'll be serving the other coffees I source as single origin espresso, batch brew, and eventually pour over. I have a Yes PLZ roasted Honduras that has me remembering my first heart eyes for Honduran coffee on a cupping table.
