Hi I’m Dani and I want to give you a speed run, tell all, about my recently released Kristee Cardigan.
It’s a new take on the usual granny square cardigan, but with a flower motif, no knit border and many different variations to make it uniquely your own.
I named it The Kristee Cardigan after my mother who passed away in 2019. She passed before I learned to crochet but I know she would be so proud. And since I can’t actually make her anything, (I would have made her about a million things by now) I decided to name my first pattern after her.
I first made this cardigan one year ago. I didn’t write it down like my aunt suggested… she thought I should sell it, I said no, nobody would want to make it.
I made a silly video about it a year later & long story short - everyone commented to release a pattern. My aunt said I told you so… and I got to writing.
I wrote the pattern while also crocheting another variation than the original. I then finished the first one and sent out the pattern to my testers. Who did an amazing job.
While they tested the pattern I made a third cardigan. And figured out another variation.
I added details for all three in the pattern.
Each of them shows the many ways you can customize it.

WE ARE FINALLY FINISHED. This project took me WAY to long. However, I learned SO much along the way. I’m stoked to see how it blocks.
I will be posting an annoying amount of transitions with this, so hopefully I don’t get on your nerves lmfao.
