Spent April Celebrating Life 💜💛
I threw an intimate Slumber Style Party for the girlies and my family surprised me with a party in my home town, Manchester. Creating new memories with those who are here and remembered those no longer with us.💜💛 I usually fly out for my birthday but this year I had to welcome in 27 with those around me and I’m so glad I did. It’s been about 7 years since I’d last celebrated with all my friends & family and last year really made it clear I needed to change that. Also I used to celebrate my birthday all month long…so it’s reminded me to bring that back 🤪
PS: hosting is hard and these are all the pictures you get bc no one really took pics and I’m the content girlie who just managed to make sure everything went smoothly and *just* got these ones of me at 2am before I went to sleep 😂

As I created this recap, I almost forgot how many wins and good things had happened to me this year. I remembered the rough parts, all the things that I’ve been wanting to change and is yet to, however, I still achieved so much this year and I’m so proud of myself.
This year forced me to slow down. To heal. I didn’t want to, but it was absolutely necessary. And just as I was starting to enjoy life again, my grandma passed away and that hit me really hard. I’ve been inspired by her to live life to the fullest, she was such a badass. I feel her now more than ever. Her soul lives on. Through her kids. Her grandkids. Through me. And that brings me so much peace.
The year has reminded me what’s important. The year has challenged me to grow in so many ways. It’s shown me that I have so much love and support and community around me. I’m so grateful for everyone who I have spent moments with this year, everyone who has reached out to me, everyone who has shared a thought with me – especially strangers! Talk to strangers more.
