When our teams visit from Dallas, one of our favorite traditions is creating a space where the children of the “Arte y Creatividad” cooperative can learn directly from the master artists in their lives: their mothers. Together with the missionaries, the kids discover the patience, precision, and history woven into every single dense stitch.
Watching a child realize that their mother isn’t just sewing, but creating world-class fine art, is magical.
