I love cairns. One person’s pebble placed on top of another. For a moment or a person forever.
I may be back in London but on a little hill next to a tiny chapel far away in Greece, my little pebble is looking out at the sparkling sea.

A quiet celebration of what was always there.
In the drawing room, a beautifully preserved original ceiling was uncovered above a later plaster layer and thoughtfully restored, bringing back the room’s true character.
Rather than curtains, I chose soft blinds in faded floral linen, allowing the tall sash windows to remain uncluttered and the architecture to speak for itself. Beneath the generous ceiling height, deep, plump sofas in muted tones invite comfort, softened further by layered cushions, worn florals, delicate watercolours, oil paintings, and an antique rug.
The result is a space that feels gentle and serene - a calm, lived-in counterpoint to its natural grandeur.
