Still haven't had a chance to go through the photos from our Europe trip, but here's a video of one of my favourite routes of the trip - Le Plaisir Qui Démonte (8b) at Tennessee wall in the Gorges du Tarn. This is part of the pumpy section before the crux, at about meter 35 of 55!! Amazing wall!

Chalking up the redpoint attempts... 7th time falling on this move from the ground. I think I have now had around 100 tie-ins on this and Sitting Bull combined. This one is right at my limit. A few photos from 3 weeks climbing in Spain with @currieiam . So much inspiring rock! We climbed about half the time around Oliana and half in Rodellar. We also had a look at soaking wet Santa Linya and Terradets. Rodellar in particular is amazing, thanks for the tour @dugmcc ! Ended up climbing 16 days with only 4 rest days. Got up some great routes and also sampled a bunch of harder things. Very keen to get back soon to finish a few off, in particular Fish Eye at Oliana, which I felt close on.

A few photos from our trip to Spain. We spent a few days touristing in Barcelona, then 2 weeks in Chulilla and a few days in Siurana climbing. Barcelona was great. I'm not normally one for architecture, but Gaudi's stuff is bizarre and interesting. We found some great paella and heaps of good bakeries.🍰 We met lots of nice people and found the Spanish super friendly! The climbing was a bit of a mixed bag. Chulilla is a beautiful spot. I really enjoyed the 40m+ enduro routes (particularly at Balconcito) and Marie found some good stuff too. However, at the end of the first week I had a weird allergic reaction that still hasn't dissipated and made it pretty difficult to do things 😭. Still got up some great routes 😊. The amount of shit and toilet paper around was disappointing. Leave no trace doesn't seem to be a thing...🙁 It was also unseasonably warm in Chulilla, which goes along with the crazy warm ocean surface temperatures this year (last photo from a few days ago, with red colours being +3-4C anomalies). Looking forward to the next trip!
