Please join us in welcoming Holly Hammond to our Murder of Crows with the acquisition of her witchy historical horror novel, THE MYTH OF MILLICENT VONGUARD, slated for 2027. Welcome, Holly! 🖤📚
A collection of my rejected New Yorker cartoons. What’s up @newyorkermag ? Am I not FUNNY enough for you yet? 😜
I’ll make them into a book when I hit 50! 🖤
Quick portrait of the best model @epiphanyspeaks 🖤 I wish I had more time 😭
3 hours, oil on canvas, zorn palette besides the background, which was Veridian green. One of my favorite colors that I never use anymore!
So weird that when I dress completely inappropriately for the weather, I’m uncomfortable?? 🧐
See it better on Webtoon!

My dad aka Weddie’s grandpa wrote a book! It’s called The Lost Panel by Mark Steven Hammond. My dad has always loved adventure stories and showed us all the Indiana Jones movies when we were kids. It’s so fun to see him writing his own now!
The Lost Panel is an epic tale about the missing panel from The Ghent Altarpiece. It’s historical fiction and if you like adventure, treasure hunts, mystery, and art history, you’ll love it! I’ll include an Amazon link to buy it in my story.
Weddie’s review is that it’s delicious, as evidenced by the puddle of drool both on and around the book in this huge fail of a photoshoot.
Don’t forget to go outside! I am apparently Vitamin D deficient. Sometimes I forget we’re basically just plants with anxiety and need sunshine, fresh air, and water to function.
Sleeves by @lymphedivas of course 💙
Now get off your phone and go exploring!! 🌲
Well these results took forever but since I’m at once-a-year scans now, I guess I’m six years in remission and still cancer-free for at least another year. 😮💨
I was actually pretty nervous about this one. I hadn’t had a scan since last April, which is the longest I’ve ever gone. I’m on zero medication so we’re just letting my body be itself which historically is very murdery. Will I ever feel safe in my body again? Somehow I doubt it.
Somehow despite all the statistics that say I died 5 years ago with 100% certainty, I’m still here, med-free, cancer-free. Six years cancer-free and almost four with no drugs.
This is why I always say, you are not a statistic.
Feeling grateful. 🖤
PS, it’s no contrast because I am deathly allergic to iodine, which is what they inject you with. I still do contrast sometimes but with a lot of Benadryl and/or steroids. 🙃
I thought this was pretty funny. @jillianbritz and I decided to draw the same trees and came up with very very different interpretations of what we saw. 🤣 This is the fun part of seeing different artist’s work. We never see things the same way.
Can you guess whose is whose (based on first pic)?
I love Lake Arrowhead so much! Took a long weekend with @jillianbritz to write and hangout.
I wanted to take Weds to see the snow but unfortunately it had melted and the weather was beautiful 😒
Practicing some very important skills before my next show, such as Do Not Hit Your Friends With The Cane and Do Not Drop The Cane and Do Not Let The Cane Fly Out Of Your Hand And Kill Someone and Do Not Smack Yourself In The Head With The Cane.
It’s harder than it looks.
One of my fav @lymphedivas sleeves and gauntlet of course - this one looks like a gorgeous tattoo, I always get compliments on it. It’s fun when your medical gear is also fashionable 💜
You guys, Weddie is sooooo pretty. She’s so glossy and shiny like a show pony. People stop us and ask about her coat all the time. These things are really just genetic though because I give her no extra supplements, just salmon based kibble because she’s allergic to poultry. I tried SO MANY supplements with Matilda, and extra things to help her coat, and she still spent half the year like a naked pig from seasonal alopecia. So I don’t know. Weddie has been blessed by the ancient horse gods. (Proof in last pic)
