We had the incredible privilege to design and fabricate the art glass for the Yorba Linda, California temple. These windows draw inspiration from the beautiful Spanish Mission architecture along with the rich, lush agricultural history of the area. A palette of greens, blues, soft whites, and warm golden tones reflects the character and warmth of the environment and the design style prevalent there. The designs feature hand-blown rondels, bevels, and custom glass elements, with palm motifs woven throughout.
The palms create a Tree of Life. Smaller palms along the borders are a reminder of the growth that comes as we water and nourish the seeds of our faith. Our hand blown and cast rondel pieces add to the sparkle of the design. They illustrate the sun along with stylized orange blossoms, which together allow the growth of the delicious orange. It is a reflection of seed to bud to harvest.

Anytime we have the opportunity to represent a tree from the surrounding area, we love incorporating it into a Tree of Life design. For the Willamette Valley temple, we were able to feature the beautiful pink dogwood tree. The valley is also home to several beautiful rivers that flow to the ocean hence the vibrant blues and greens.
