We hosted an immersive walkabout, guiding guests through the full making process of our Di Ponti Range, from concept to final product, with live demos running along the way.
To wrap it up, everyone got to assemble their own mini 3D-printed clock to take home.

And just like that February flew by. In the midst of it all was Cape Town Furniture Week. Now that things have settled, we’re taking a moment to reflect, and express our gratitude.

Thank you to @furnitureweek.capetown for the care, intention, and energy poured into creating a platform that genuinely champions local design. It’s no small feat to gather so many studios, ideas, and conversations under one roof, and make it feel meaningful.

What visitors don’t always see are the late nights, problem-solving, last-minute tweaks, and general chaos in the lead-up to opening night. Respect to every designer, maker, installer, and organiser who put in the hard work behind the scenes.

We’re so excited about Hoi Ploy’s new range of 3D printed clocks that was showcased for the first time at Cape Town Furniture Week 2026. The clocks form part of the new DiPonti range, and are created using our tasteful range of matte, 3D filament. The colours closely match the custom made rug that was provided by @yudurugs . The rug really made the installation pop on the raw, grey, gutted shell that set the venue’s tone - perfect environment to contrast the slick treatment of all these slick pieces. #3dprintedclock #hoiploysa #yudurugs #madeinsouthafrica #ctfw
We spent some time at @furnitureweek.capetown and came back feeling inspired.
It was encouraging to see so many local designers and makers presenting well-made, honest pieces. Natural timber, interesting textures, practical forms, and a clear focus on quality. Nothing excessive. Just thoughtful work.
The conversations were just as valuable. Connecting with suppliers, craftsmen, and other studios always adds perspective to how we approach both residential and corporate interiors.
Projects are often shaped by what we see and who we meet along the way. If you’re in the process of planning a space, we’re always open to a conversation.
Collaborating with local brands that have pioneered in their fields empowers us to grow and inspires us to push our own boundaries as we strive towards elevating local standards. On this occasion, we’re so grateful to @yudurugs who jumped on board, and rallied in record time to help bring our vision to life. The custom rug they crafted for us allowed us to frame our CTFW space so perfectly, and we’re delighted with how the tasteful colour scheme echoed our new 3D printing filament range. What started as a stripped-back floor quickly became a defined, welcoming corner. A simple gesture that made all the difference.
