Style frames of texture in motion. All of the texture here has the base of a Haaland shot staring down the lens - you can sort of see him in slide 4 - Manipulated the shot using it as a silhouette Luma matte with an organic halftone texture build, animated radial blurs and many colour correction animations. Obsessed with the gradients it pulled mixing with the texture.
Sunderland Newcastle. Hectic red code to visually illustrate the vast amount of history these two clubs have against each other. It works well juxtaposed over young faces. Two day build, from scratch with just the font to start with. Just had fun with it. The only thing I’ll ever use chat gbt for is functional quicker workflow baseline stuff like I got every historic result formulated like this - SUN1-0NEW/>2025 - so I could make my workflow quicker by not having to manually type out every single result like this. Built essentially using 3 precomps each progressing and developing on the previous one. Using various sizes, spaces between lines and layering of type, progressed with effects such as displacement maps, glow noise, turbulent displacement, looks, warp, Ball Action (very key), luma mattes, Flo Motion. To make this type look distressed, displaced and real. Then animated text, animated warps and displacements to make it feel like it was being powered and it was live. The hardest thing was knowing when to stop moving things around or fucking with the type.

Motion design for Paris 2024 Olympics Promos team. Pushed to the limit everyday with new ideas, shoots, creativity and technical ability for promos and high end reflections. Techi. I got to flex the after effects muscles and broke my computer :/ we’re so back! A quick creative with director @johnreavey to promote the biggest day in the PL calendar. I went for a super speedy tapestry to show time running out and positions changing. 4000x4000 comps with hundreds of layers and toggle hold key frames. I haven’t enjoyed making a graphic more than the Garnacho mosaic in a while!

Hugely proud of this project with over 200+ deliverables in 5 aspect ratios that will be the face of the greatest league in the world in Spain, Germany, USA, Scandinavia to name a few - across broadcaster platforms such as Amazon, Sky and NBC. First touch point of the customer experience in the world of streaming. Such a learning experience for me as a designer and super proud of the static work coming from a motion background. From art directing, organizing and directing photoshoots, commissioning, designing to reflect each individual show giving it its own character, getting to know more about the distribution and business as a whole was so impactful for me on my learning journey.
