This painting has been a major influence in my recent work. Not nearly the best Pelton painting but I am drawn to its repetitive, energetic imagery. It feels alive.
Dancing light in the studio. Slow drying paintings. There’s always a long time between layers. It’s good. Plenty of time to plan my next move. Patience I otherwise wouldn’t have.
