The Head Of The Charles Regatta is pleased to welcome Bridget Kelly to the full-time team as Operations Manager.
Originally from the Boston area, Bridget discovered rowing as a walk-on at Syracuse University, where she quickly developed a strong connection to the sport and its community. That experience led her to coaching with the women’s rowing program at Jacksonville University.
Alongside her rowing background, Bridget brings experience in event operations, with a focus on logistics, coordination, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is excited to join HOCR and to bring together her passion for rowing and operations in support of the regatta.
Please join us in welcoming Bridget to the team.

Happy Earth Day from HOCR 🌎 We’re proud to keep making race weekend greener every year ♻️ Special shoutout to our Sustainability Committee for leading the charge!
At HOCR 2025, they helped divert 7.5 tons of material to compost and we diverted more food waste to compost this year than ever before.
We hit 60% diversion this year, showing how small actions add up to a big impact year after year.
Last week, we celebrated the Let’s Row Championships, the hallmark event for @criboston ’s Let’s Row Program and one of the largest youth indoor regattas in the country. Over 1,000 students came together with energy, teamwork, and school pride.
Let’s Row creates pathways to rowing for youth across Boston, partnering with schools and community organizations to expand access and inclusion in the sport. The program serves over 30 public schools and more than 4,000 students annually.
Students competed in erg relays by grade against other schools, bringing incredible effort to every race. It’s inspiring to see the impact of the Let’s Row Program and the excitement these athletes bring to the event.
Celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Day💙
Today we recognize our 2,400+ volunteers across 30+ committees who help make HOCR possible. Your commitment, care, and effort bring the regatta to life each year. We couldn’t do it without you.
