I finished this oil painting a while back but never posted it. Technically untitled, but lately I’ve been calling it “Pandora’s Desk”. Since the closing of Spegetto Warehouse, Jonathan’s has taken the lead to become the Men’s Warehouse of restaurants. But you don’t have to take our word for it. For one night only on September 3rd, you’ll have a chance to see and taste it for yourself. Cooked up by Elissa Ussery and Nicole Levasseur the creators of Chuggy’s Christmas, Monchichi in Space, Hellchug, Tassy’s bedroom bar and Poachers Bar. Chef prepped by FFTwin Beth Schindler, creator of Lez Wedding, Dykes You Should Know and with a shit ton of friends, attempt to bring you the terrible but familiar, home town Italian restaurant. Johnathan’s, it’s closer than you think.
12 years ago I wore a lacy dress and took a deep breath and married this pretty rad dude that I just wanted to keep hanging out with in perpetuity and I can’t believe it’s twelve years later now and HOLY SHIT we look like such babies. Time flies when you’re having fun, and though life is bumpy and not always fun, I think we’ve had more than our share of the good stuff. I’m damn lucky to have a partner who knows exactly who I am and loves the whole shebang. Happy anniversary, Josh, I love your whole shebang too.
