I've been asked for a long time to record my music and I'm excited to say I am working on that. However things do cost money and I struggled with how I wanted to go about this. I didn't want to just ask for money or make a go fund...it's uncomfortable for me to do that. Instead I turned some of my art into a clothing line and this way everybody gets a little something out of the exchange! It's been over 4 months since seeing each other...long distance is not for the faint of heart 😅🫠 We really packed in a lot over a quick 3 day visit. Chatting for hours at a Teahouse, late night snacks at a Tiki Bar, getting the best sushi around, going to a bathhouse to soak and relax, and my first time shucking oysters 🥹 And all the little things in between that mean the most ❤️
Christmas on the coast part 2: Waking up to a rainbow right outside your room is always a good sign. Also I find it fun that Callie doesn't have any social media so I can post about her and she has no idea 😏😌
Christmas on the coast part one: I could get used to spending winter by the ocean 🌊 catching the breeze while watching the sunset, looking for agates on a beach called Agate Beach that didn't really seem to have any agates but was fun anyway, finally getting to see Redwood trees that demand reverence...you can feel their wisdom upon first glance. Had some beautiful sights on my flight home too 🙏🏼 feeling grateful ❤️
What an honor to tend to the fire at the open house for @thebardo.mn last night. Offering tobacco and prayers to bless up the space and find those it needs to. An owl joined me for a while in a nearby tree and hooted loudly...fitting for the theme of the night. The Bardo has a beautiful mission and is led by incredible people who truly care so much for those at the end of their life. It's not often that you leave a place and think "I want to die here". We need more places like that...

So so grateful for the opportunity to go to the @conscious.growth festival out here in Oregon. It's encouraging to know there are more gatherings like this popping up around the country. Spaces to rebuild the "village". We need each other to move through the changes our world is going through. To hold space for the immense grief we feel, sing heart centered songs around the sacred fire, listen and learn from indigenous communities, to remember our divine birthrights and gifts, to dance with our joy and pain.

I'm grateful to my beloved Callie (who is not on social media) for coming up with this logo banner. I never thought to flip my name because in my mind it would look the same. It then got me curious about the magic of palindromes ✨
This has all sparked motivation to share my music in new creative ways. I'm excited for what's to come!
