Last week we gathered the GCA winner cohort of 2025 in Stockholm for the second changemaker week, tailored to strengthen the innovators’ ideas and support their growth. We ended the week with an award ceremony under the golden ceilings of Stockholm City Hall.
The winners of this year’s Global Change Award are not just innovators; they are changemakers transforming how the textile industry can cut emissions, create equity, and inspire hope.
Thank you to everyone who brought their energy, curiosity and heart during the week and congratulations to all the winners!

What a moment to remember ✨ Last night at Stockholm City Hall, we celebrated the brilliant minds reimagining the future of fashion. The winners of this year’s Global Change Award are not just innovators; they are changemakers transforming how the textile industry can cut emissions, create equity, and inspire hope.
Each idea represents what’s possible when science meets creativity and when bold thinking meets collaboration. Together, they show that a net-zero fashion future is a vision already in motion.
Congratulations to all the winners!

Automated apparel machines are expected to increase with 13% over the next two years - and one machine can replace several workers. When the competition for work is high, the multi-partner project Oporajita initiative makes sure that women garment workers can compete for new, more technically advanced roles on the same terms as men.
