When ashes become the seed of a new beginning, only the Phoenix can tell that story with such beauty.
A mythical and sacred bird in the legends of Iran, Greece, Egypt, and China, the Phoenix symbolizes immortality, rebirth, and resurrection—its life cycle defined by burning into flames and rising from its own ashes. In Persian literature, it stands for suffering, renewal, and the courage to begin again.
I am excited to share one of my latest projects, which was commissioned by my dear uncle, Hassan Majd—a bold architect and the inspiration of my childhood.
This project is one of his current residential projects: A home that was completely destroyed in the January 7th, 2025 wildfire of Palisade, California, USA, and then redesigned to be rebuilt with extraordinary courage and artistry, rising once again on the very same ashes.
I had the honor of contributing as the scriptwriter and creative director of the video documenting this work.
My heartfelt thanks go to Noora for her beautiful animation work, and to Amirhossein for crafting the sound design and music with such artistry. Their talent brought this creation to life.

ققنوس، پرندهای افسانهای و مقدس در اساطیر ایران، یونان، مصر و چین، نماد جاودانگی، تولد دوباره و رستاخیزه موجودی که چرخهی زندگیش با سوختن و برخاستن دوباره از خاکسترش تعریف میشه. در ادبیات فارسی، ققنوس نشونهی رنج، تجدید حیات و شجاعت دوباره شروع کردنه
یکی از آخرین پروژهها به سفارش عموی عزیزم، حسن مجد، معمار جسور و الهامبخش دوران کودکی من
این پروژه مربوط به یکی از آخرین طراحیهای ایشونه، خونهای که بعد از آتشسوزی سال ۲۰۲۴ در آمریکا کاملاً از بین رفته بود و بنای جدید با جسارت و هنرمندی هرچه تمامتر دقیقاً روی همون خاکسترها طراحی و ساخته شد
افتخار داشتم در این پروژه به عنوان نویسندهی سناریو و کارگردان خلاق ویدیو حضور داشته باشم
