Nikita Zabelinのパフォーマンス"GROUND"からインスパイアされた、ローテーブル。
有機的な自然の中で力強さを放つ岩と、対照的な無機物である繊細なアルミという素材の組み合わせ。
蛍光灯が岩から生えるような形をイメージして制作された照明器具は、蛍光灯が放つ光がより効果的になるようにラテックスを塗布することにより、ユニークな質感を表現。
"GROUND"を地面と解釈し、座りの姿勢を強制的に促すデザイン。この作品は、自然の中に身を置くような感覚を与え、テーブルと身体、空間の関係を再構築することで、深い対話を生み出すことを目指しています。
The low table is inspired by Nikita Zabelin’s performance "GROUND." It combines the organic strength of rock, which radiates power in nature, with the contrasting inorganic delicacy of aluminum.
The lighting fixture, designed with the image of fluorescent lights growing from the rock, is created with a unique texture by applying latex to enhance the effect of the light emitted by the fluorescent tubes.
Interpreting "GROUND" as the earth, the design forces a seated posture. This piece aims to provide a sensation of being immersed in nature, while also reconstructing the relationship between the table, the body, and the space to foster a deep dialogue.
