Closing a Chapter 🥊
At the end of this month, I’ll be wrapping up the boxing coaching sessions I’ve been running for the past 5 years. It’s not a decision I’ve made lightly, but it’s one I’ve made with a clear heart.
Coaching has given me so much — purpose, community, and the chance to help others grow stronger mentally and physically. But behind the scenes, balancing coaching with other responsibilities has taken a toll on both my body and mind. I’ve found myself constantly juggling priorities, making choices I haven’t been proud of, and watching my mood, mental health and energy suffer.
I’m 28 now. I know I don’t have endless time left when it comes to pursuing an athletic career — and I don’t want to look back wondering “what if?” So I’ve made the decision to give myself one last real shot in the ring. One more run, while I still can.
Thank you to everyone who’s trained with me, supported me, and trusted me over the years. Coaching will always be part of who I am, but for now it’s time to focus on myself again.
