This week was a powerful reminder that relapse can be a part of the recovery journey—and reaching out takes incredible strength.
A returning client came to us asking for help, and Team HIRE did what we do best - hop into action! Staff met them where they were and got to work. Since HIRE serves as a “hub” for reentry services in OC and utilizes partner orgs for services beyond our scope, we reached out to two of our wonderful partners @actionalliancefoundation and @recoveryroadoc who literally showed up at a moment’s notice. Not only were we were able to get the client into the programs they needed but thanks to our funders, we even got some goodies for success. This is what community looks like. 🤝
Our client shared that they felt like they had hit rock bottom. We reminded them: when you’re at the bottom, there’s only one way to go—up. And they don’t have to do it alone. We’ve got their back every step of the way.
Together, through compassion, connection, and action, we continue to make a difference. 💚
