We are hosting West Philly's Climate Ready listening session in partnership with the City of Philadelphia's Office of Sustainability @philaoos . April 2nd 6pm, Link shared upon RSVP. Have you ever experienced the effects of extreme weather in your neighborhood? Find out ways to support your community directly from city officials, and lend your voice to be included in the City's emerging Climate Resilience Plan, and subsequent support resources for our city. We are seeking participation from our partners in greening, neighborhood wellness, and housing, as well as any concerned neighbors. Come share your stories and insights about what climate readiness and neighborhood resilience looks like for your block, your family, and your neighborhood. We want perspectives on managing heat, storms, snow removal, living with mold, housing and food insecurity, tree cover and safe, green spaces to play and rest. We will also be releasing our Readiness Skill-up Survey during this time -- We want to support West Philly in skill building around neighborhood readiness broadly. What self-sufficiency skills would we like to learn with our neighbors this Summer and Fall? From carpentry to water collection, we want to hear from you! Not in West Philly?
