최근 방 청소하면서 2020년에 썼던 다이어리를 찾았는데 안에 “너목보 지원”이라고 적어놨었네요! 당시엔 준비가 안 됐다고 느껴져서 미뤘었는데 3년이 지난 이제서야 달성했네요 ㅎㅎ 코로나 상황과 군 복무로 인해 생긴 무대에 대한 갈망을 해소해 주셔서 감사합니다. 3년 만에 선 첫 무대인 만큼 걱정이 많았었는데ㅠ 잊지 못할 행복한 무대에 함께해 준 제인님, 뮬님과 재범이 형 감사합니다. 자신감이 떨어질 때마다 옆에서 격려해 주신 도혜 작가님, 수많은 칭찬과 조언으로 지지해 주신 호훈쌤, 웃으면서 좋게 봐주신 모든 스태프분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다 불안함이 많았던 저에게 다시 확신을 준 뜻깊은 경험이었습니다❤ 모두 고생 많으셨고 목표를 달성하는 2023년이 되길 축복합니다!
Had this on my to-do's since 2020, and we finally checked it off the list:) I've been yearning to perform for a long time now. Thank you for allowing a space to share what I love with the world. Thank you to all the writers, producers and staff for the consistent support. Thank you Jane, Mull and Jay Park hyung for creating an unforgettable moment in my life🙏 In a time of so many uncertainties and doubts, this allowed me to regain my confidence and realize that I still got it! For a long time, I thought I had to fit into something—
a place, a version of myself, a path that made sense to other people.
The last 5 years took me through the army, corporate life, side hustles, and back to school…
and somewhere along the way, I lost touch with music.
Being in the “real world” made me realize—
there is no such thing as normal.
We’re all just kids pretending to have it together.

This song is one that rings deep in my heart as it talks about where I come from and where I am now. Growing up as a mixed third-culture kid comes with a list of challenges that most people may not relate to, but as an artist, it is my mission to represent kids like me who might some times feel misunderstood, wronged or not seen. We are all still children, taller toddlers, BIG KIDS at the end of the day and I hope this song finds you at the right time of growth and healing💙
