I have completely restored and refinished this desk. It is in fantastic condition and has some nice features:
- fold away top with space for laptop or keyboard
- foot rest bar
- sliding side table extensions
- new hardware
- brass feet
Size: 55" wide x 30" deep x 30 3/4" tall
In restoring the desk, I removed the top so I could do a professional sand on everything. The main body has been fully stained and finished with a semi-gloss. The top has been sealed and then painted with a beautiful colour called limestone.

It's a story with 100+ years of history. I restored and refinished this piece that has been in the family for many generations.
If you look through the photos, you can see how I disassembled the hutch as much as possible in order to repair and restore it.
The dark walnut with semi-gloss finish makes the natural dark colour of the wood pop. I also changed the hardware to some other vintage pieces I had (we kept the hardware that was on there as well for safe keeping).
This is going to be part of a wedding set the amazing family is passing on to their daughter. I hope it see's many more generations of love.
A custom set of puppy coasters! This hardwood set features the face of the person's well-loved pet.
I was able to use an existing photo and laser engrave this picture on a set of four coasters.
It was so nice to hear the response of "these are too nice, I'm going to display them and not use them" as they were thrilled with the results.

I was able to save this multiple living room table set for the wonderful family. It just needed some sanding, stain and finish, and love.

This giant live edge walnut charcuterie board was made as a display piece for baked goods at a local event.
It's very pretty and has been finished with a food-grade oil. Because of its size, I had to hand plane it to shape before spending time sanding.
Now that the event is over, I need to decide what to do with this piece. If you are interested in this, send me a message.
Made some very pretty shelves from a piece of walnut the person supplied to me. They were not sure if I would be able to save the material, but I'd say it worked out wonderfully.
It's been a week! In between a series of projects and communication activities, I have refinished three tables for Harwich Raleigh Public School.
I am donating all of my time and the cost to do this as the tables were in pretty rough condition and I firmly believe the staff deserve something nice.
I didn't have time to do a colour change on this project, so I have done my best to match the existing colour. The tables needed some repairs as well, so that is all done.
They will hopefully be delivered next week and will be back in action.

This is a custom solid walnut table that have built on request. The top can be lifted off to reveal a special chess board that sits atop green velvet.
The drawers, which use premium sliders, are lined with black velvet which will hold the chess pieces.
You can see the beauty of the natural wood shine through with the soft gloss finish.
It's a heavy piece and absolutely one-of-a-kind. I built this with hard work and love.
What a day! Shot thousands and thousands of photos at an event and have started the work of selecting the best and editing. Taylor's Dance Academy has an amazing dance group this year! Walnut round signs: engraved with a custom design, then hand painted and sealed for indoor/outdoor use.
These pieces take time to plane and sand to shape, along with some hole filling. I also pre-bake them for hours to help make sure they are dry.
