We’ve watched young people in both New York and Honduras begin to see themselves differently when they are given the space to connect, create, lead, and belong.
Sometimes it starts through art.
Sometimes through mentorship, environmental stewardship, cultural exchange, or simply being part of something meaningful.
PATH: Promoting Arts, Teamwork & Hope, 501c3, was created to bring people together through experiences that build confidence, connection, leadership, and purpose.
What continues to inspire us most is seeing how impactful these moments can be, not only for youth abroad, but for students in the states as well. Across cultures and communities, the need is the same: to feel seen, valued, capable, and connected.
And while many of our projects focus on youth leadership, PATH is ultimately about people... creating opportunities for individuals, families, students, educators, and communities to grow together through shared experiences and meaningful engagement.

Taking time out for self discovery and balance is what Hilltop Communities is all about. This past weekend at our Connctucut location, revealed a truth about knowing what it means to adapt to new beginnings.
Our decision to start a non-profit was made when we saw how our own lives and the paths we took could make a difference in the lives of others, both n the US and abroad.

This Earth Day, we’re excited to share something that started with students.
Keepers of the Reef, is a student-led initiative created by Leila, president of the Warwick Valley HS Interact Club, along with fellow Interact members and peers who wanted to take action after connecting with PATH leaders in the Bay Islands of Honduras.
What began as a conversation has turned into a commitment: reducing single-use plastics, cans, and bottles, while raising awareness in their own community.
This is more than an environmental effort. It’s a cross-continental connection—high school students here taking action while building relationships with youth in the Bay Islands.
These are the founding Reef Keepers.

This is what happens when students are given something real to be part of...
In just two years, the Warwick Valley Interact Club has sent candy with messages of hope, supported our shoe drive, raised money for books, and built meaningful connections with students in the Bay Islands of Honduras.
But what stands out most isn’t just what they’ve done, it’s how motivated they are to get involved. These students genuinely want to be part of something bigger than themselves.
And when they are given the opportunity to lead, they rise to it. Thank you to their advisor @jnfogler for supporting and encouraging them.

Great day at the District Rotary Learning Assembly focused on strengthening leadership, growing our clubs, and expanding our impact.
One of the highlights was connecting with the Rhinebeck Interact Club students and their advisor, David, whose passion and commitment to Interact truly stood out.
I also had the opportunity to share the work our Warwick Interact students are doing, including how our projects align with Rotary’s Areas of Focus. It was exciting to see that level of engagement resonate with others across the district.
From conversations around grants to strategies for outreach and member engagement, the day was a reminder that strong clubs are built through collaboration and shared purpose.
Creating lasting impact takes all of us.

When students are given the space to think, create, and lead, there’s no limit to what they can do.
Leila is a powerful example of what happens when young leaders feel trusted to bring their ideas forward and turn them into action. From launching new initiatives to expanding her impact beyond the classroom, she is redefining what student leadership can look like.
