Living in these concrete jungles, we become disconnected from nature and it becomes very easy to forget that all our actions and consumption has consequences. DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER!?! 😎 The idea for this shot had been in my head for ages, but when @vmagazine asked me to photograph @richardbranson for their Hero section, it was a no brainer. What better way to show the #epicness of this man then swamped in the #endangered #lemurs that he has rescued and built such a wonderful home for, that they are now breeding!?! I very nearly didn't have the opportunity to take this shot as it had been cancelled due to a last minute meeting of his. So I had jumped on a boat to photograph Necker during the sunset and half way through I received a phone call saying that we were back on and that Richard was waiting for me with the lemurs... The only problem was was that he only had ten minutes! Well, it took five minutes to get back to the island and then a crazy sprint with my 40kg camera bag and within three minutes of having the camera in hand, I had the shot... it just makes me smile... #neckerisland #canon #ringtailedlemur #hero #monkeyingaround #starsalign #bvi @virginlimitededition 😄
