Influenced by polyphonic singing traditions, she uses fragmented vocal layers alongside psychedelic/ horror synths to weave an intricate emotional narrative to be freely interpreted by listeners. Paola Lesina @paola_lesina spoken words / Based in Berlin Paola Lesina is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves fluidly across performance, poetry, and sound. Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in documentation, embracing field recordings, improvised spoken word, and performative actions that invite audiences into ephemeral yet deeply resonant sonic and poetic landscapes. Galerie Mazzoli is pleased to invite you to the performance “2 something” by Paola Lesina and Teppei Higuchi on Saturday, April 11, 2026 ! @paola_lesina @higuchi.teppei “2 something” is an experimental vocal performance / sound poetry work in which Lesina and Higuchi explore language beyond its usual role of conveying clear meaning. In this context, their presentation is both simple and ambitious: two people speaking as a form of poetic exploration. Here, the vocal, for Lesina and Higuchi, is not merely a tool of communication with others but a manifestation of such otherness through their words and bodies; painting words, shaping vocal sounds, textures, rhythms, and tones the way a painter uses color and brushstrokes. ⭐️Start at 8 pm 🚪Doors open at 7.30 pm
