We had a pleasure hosting the Northern Nevada Made in Nevada Connections event. The Nevada Department of Agriculture and Made in Nevada put these events on for agriculture, food, and beverage companies to come together to network and share opportunities. We had the chance to talk with Director of Agriculture, Jennifer Ott to share what we are doing to make a difference in the community. It was a pleasure to work with Anton Novak, CEO of Life Tastes Good who are a power house business in Reno. Making sure everyone has access to yummy, tasty and GREAT food! Today we were introduced to this amazing group of individuals with @urbanrootsnv ! They are changing the way kids and the community view food. For the past 8 weeks they have been putting on summer camps for kids in northern Nevada, and today was the very last day. Unfortunately, it was canceled due to the unhealthy conditions outside. Their team was supposed to celebrate with a party on the farm, which was also going to be canceled. We were pleased to open our tasting room doors to them, and allow their team to celebrate with us and our spirits! They are truly a fine bunch of individuals who are making such a positive change!
