For a few weeks each year, Barking Park becomes something else entirely. An open-air venue formed by temporary structures, finely tuned sound, and light designed to move through the trees. Nothing is accidental.
This is the work that shapes the dancefloor before anyone arrives.

This time next week we open the gates to High Lights for the third time. And as of today, FUSE Open Air on the 30th is fully sold out. Resale tickets are available via Resident Advisor only.
Over the last three years, these moments have taken on a life of their own. From the first time the lights cut through the trees and we saw the crowd underneath the Installation stage at full capacity, to the artists walking onto the stage and stopping to take it all in — we knew this place was something special.
A space that changes completely depending on the time of day, the weather, the music and the people inside it.
No two sets have ever felt the same here.

High Lights was born from a deep love and respect for dance music, and a belief that London deserved an outdoor venue that truly prioritised sound and design.

Our installation stage is a study in contrast. Featuring a brutalist, concrete structure, expertly designed by @lucidcreates , that appears to float weightlessly beneath the tree line of Barking Park. An 85m expanse of geometric shapes that frames the light, the trees and the dance floor.
It is a space built to be felt, coming to life next month.

As we count down the final weeks until High Lights’ third edition, our focus turns to what’s coming.
Right now, the site lives in drawings. Lines on a page, plans mapped out, last year still lingering in the background. But it’s all designed with one thing in mind.
The moment people step into it.
Because the space isn’t finished until it’s moving. Until the sound settles into the park, the light shifts with the day, and the dancefloor fills out exactly as it was intended.

As the new season turns, Barking Park begins to bloom, setting the scene for our architectural takeover this May. High Lights is the swan song of Spring, where our crowd can lose themselves in the trees and find themselves music as Summer creeps in.

Our vision for High Lights was not just to create another dance floor, but to see what would happen when truly considered, brutalist design comes together with world class dance music.
In partnership with @lucidcreates___ , the Installation stage was born - a 40 metre long, industrial structure that canopies the dance floor. Each element a carefully made decision for the optimal atmospheric, visual and audio experience.
