We finally did Beinn a’ Ghlo and NO REGRETS ! 😄
Multiple attempts for all of us over the years — different occasions, different reasons for turning back — but this time we finally got them all done, and it was absolutely worth it 🙌
Very early start thanks to the totally accurate weather forecast 😂 but honestly, no regrets, we got the best weather window ☀️
And don’t let the view of that steep climb to the first summit scare you… it really isn’t as bad as it looks 😄 Once you’re up there, the rest feels pretty straightforward with amazing views all around ⛰️

Back on the Forcan Ridge ⛰️ One of the first walks I tackled when I started my Munro journey with my walking buddy @alanhearn who has now ditched the hills for a caravan adventures 😂
But from here I realized that I just love to touch rocks 😆
Still an absolute class grade 2 scramble and an unreal day for it! Although after confidently announcing at least 22 times that we were definitely getting a cloud inversion… turns out the only thing inverted was our expectations 😂
No cloud inversion, but top-tier views and vibes anyway 🙌

It started absolutely beautiful — great weather, and visibility for miles. That feeling where you know that summer is just around the corner 😎
But as I approached the second summit, the mood shifted. The wind picked up, clouds rolled in, and suddenly it was a completely different hill. 😭 The descent turned into an adventure of its own — a boggy one 😂
So many different emotions throughout the day, but all good ones 🤘🏻

One of those days when your camera roll is full before you’ve even made it halfway up.
Avoiding the popular spots was a great decision — I had the whole hill to myself (or so I thought). Turns out, after a little Instagram scroll later on, someone else had also been up there that day… we just clearly mastered the art of avoiding each other.
Such a perfect winter day and honestly one of my favourite walks so far this year — even if I haven’t done that many. This one’s definitely up there.
Valentine’s Day well spent 🤍
And because no good day goes untested… I celebrated by bursting a tyre on the way home and driving very slowly down a busy road with a face the same colour as my brake lights. Humbling. But I made it home, and that’s what counts 😂
