Winter walk ensemble for the day. All topped off with the near ever present Merino Serivce Watchcap from Highland 2000. Finding a wool hat that sits right on my giant, silly swede has been a fraught and fruitless obsession for most of my adult life. Nothing ever fit quite right. But these really are amongst the best in the game in terms of quality and variety on offer, they can also be worn in so many different ways that even I’ve been able to make them work. The big ticket items like coats and boots get a lot of attention on these sorts of pages, but I reckon Highland 2000 might be my best find this year.
