i have been wanting to build something for some time now that blends my spirituality + love for nature. some of you may know i’ve been in between work projects recently, so inevitably had some free time on my hands.
i’ve decided to create an account dedicated to my favorite practice: mindfulness through movement (specifically in nature). my experience with outdoor adventure has led me to a very special place within and i hope that in sharing, it empower others to begin aligning with their own higher purpose.
my goal is that one day i’ll be able to guide people back to the important places both in nature + themselves.

a few months ago i was cleaning out my room and found a loose memory card in the pocket of an old bag. i reluctantly sold my first canon camera a few years ago because it was bulky, heavy + outdated and then replaced it with a nicer/lighter camera
.
since then, i’ve used several memory cards for several different adventures and projects. so when i went to check what was on this specific card, i was surprised to find it had come from my old camera…the one that traveled from alaska to australia to several parts of asia and europe and back to the US with me
.
so here is to tiny unexpected time capsules and an old promise to myself that no matter what, i will always carry a camera with me, because one day i will have a house with all my own travel photos covering the walls 📸🌟

i’ve been making vision boards for the new year (and sometimes even for mini mid-year check-ins) for as long as i can remember. whether it’s physical or a screenshot from canva, i always make sure i put it somewhere i SEE it (conciously or subconciously) everyday… for example by my bedroom mirror or on my phone lockscreen

with things like pinterest & chat gbt at our fingertips, there’s no excuse to ~not~ make a vision board for 2026. remember that making it is one thing, but practices like visulization & revisiting it daily will help you fast-track your goals/desires

it’s almost 2026 & i could use a major energy shift. reflecting on the last few months have forced me to confront a very hard truth:
i’m becoming that person who doesn’t follow through on things… yikes.
and so the saying goes, “nothing changes, if nothing changes” i’ve decided to spend the next 20 days re-committing to myself
committing to living my ideal life, even though i’m still building it
there is a better life out there for me, so i’ve decided for the next few weeks, i’m going to act as IF i already have the things i wish to have… even though my current reality may reflect the complete opposite
they say that when we live in the end result internally, we create that same result externally.
is it delusional/slightly unhinged? is it going to be difficult to reject my current circumstances in the pursuit of a higher timeline, yes.
but i owe it to myself to at least try!
i’m committing to be the best version of myself, physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually for the next 20 days.

i’m often talking to people who understand the calming effects of nature but say they have no time in their day to escape to it
here is your reminder you don’t have to go far...the sun literally sets every day !
studies show that watching the sunset:
🔸reduces stress hormones like cortisol
🔸triggers the release of dopamine in the brain due to the colors
🔸regulates your circadian rhythm improving sleep
wherever you are, take this as a sign to go watch the sunset this evening 🌞
