Every blend is made by hand (mine!) and came about naturally when I decided to make what I wanted to use daily but couldn't find. High Desert Salt is made with the pacific sea salt pyramid flakes combined with lavender, New Mexico Green and Red chile. It's so simple and special. It seasons and finishes salads, vegetables, meats, pasta, butter for bread, chocolate chip cookies etc. like no other. The flavor is floral and grounding with a touch of heat, straightforward but somehow mysterious. It captures a snapshot of the high desert landscape that keeps me in awe and filled with gratitude each time I use it. Available for shipping and free local delivery. STOKLI.COM
Fire roasting Poblanos. After they're nice and blistered, we'll let them rest together, steam together, as they cool. Then we'll slide the skin off and use the Poblanos in absolutely everything. π₯
This everyday lemon vinaigrette makes a lunchtime salad simple, itβs easy to grab for dipping raw vegetables in for a snack, sometimes I find myself drizzling some inside a sandwich or in a chicken, tuna, pasta, or grain salad, or on top of all types of grilled vegetables. The bottom line? An everyday vinaigrette is more savvy and useful than it might appear.
Chop what needs choppingπ§ , squeeze what needs squeezing π, and whisk all ingredients together. So simple, so easy. Youβre a pro! π§βπ³
Spicy Mezcal Margaritaβ
β
Oh, the joys of summertime margaritas! There is something about the smokey addition of Mezcal that just tastes right here in the Southwest. My husband seems to have always had an affinity for Mezcal, preferring to sip it neat, while I first realized how much I loved it after ordering a Mezcal Ranch Water at La Reina at El Rey Court. To be honest, I usually prefer wine, that is until I find myself somewhere with Margaritas on the menu. When entertaining (or just wanting a fun cocktail for the weekend) I love to make everything as relaxed and easy as possible. This Small Batch Mezcal Margarita is a wonderful way to go. β

This spicy mezcal margarita combines the smoky and earthy notes of mezcal with the bright and tangy flavors of lime. Sit back and vibe out with friends with the smoldering allure that elevates this classic margarita experience.
Grapefruit Carpaccio
.
Usually, carpaccio refers to meat or fish that is pounded thin and served raw. But with the grapefruit thinly sliced and spread across the bottom of a plate, this simple carpaccio recipe has a visual similarity that cannot be ignored.
