When I was younger, I used to make my grandma and grandad order food for lunch- and he always used to joke about how I’d own a restaurant one day.
I’ve dreamt about it, stressed about it, and worked absolutely non-stop for it.
Today, that dream actually came true.
I am so unbelievably proud (and a little bit terrified!) to officially announce that I have bought the business. I am the new owner of this amazing place.
To the team who has held it down while I’ve been drowning in solicitor emails and lease paperwork behind the scenes—thank you. You are the heartbeat of this place.
And to every single one of you who comes in, buys a coffee, tags us in your brunch photos, and supports this indie business—thank you. You are the reason I was able to take this massive leap.
This isn’t just a takeover. It’s a completely new era.

Unreal breakfast at Hidden in Wakefield this morning where we got:
-choc chip cookie iced latte
- strawberry shortcake matcha
- eggs Benedict
And biscoff, white chocolate and strawberries on French toast
I can’t wait to come back and try some of their pizzas and other things on the menu because this breakfast was on point 😍😍

I popped back to Hidden in Middlestown after their pizzas had me weak at the knees, this time for brunch, and it did not miss!
Nascosto chicken on French toast thicker than my Yorkshire accent, piped with mascarpone, drizzled with chilli honey. Absolute chaos. Smashed avo with poached eggs, pork sausages, sourdough - pop the yolk, drizzle of spicy honey, job’s a good ‘un.
The iced matcha specials were also proper good!
Book ahead cos it fills up fast, and do NOT leave without the Nascosto chicken French toast. Non-negotiable.

Guys, today was the craziest brunch service we’ve ever had.
Every single table was full from open to close with reservations and walk-ins.
We are so sorry to anyone we had to turn away today, or anyone who had to wait for a table longer than we’d normally like. Thank you all so much for showing up and supporting us. Time for us to go for a beer and a nap lol.
