Welcome to Thakaneng, the first hut at the royal house of the late King Moshoeshoe in Lesotho. “Here, Basotho women grace the halls in traditional Thethana ya Basotho attire, a vision brought to life by the King himself.
King Moshoeshoe strategically placed these women in the first hut to distract potential enemies, who he believed were mostly men traveling from KZN and other regions. By showcasing the beauty and grace of Basotho women in their traditional attire, the King aimed to disrupt any hostile intentions.

Tshepo Masilo, is an award-winning African storyteller and illustrator based in Johannesburg, brings his unique vision to life through vibrant colours and intricate African doodle patterns. His art is deeply influenced by his township upbringing and the rich tapestry of stories from across the African continent.
Tshepo’s work seamlessly bridges the gap between art and design, creating pieces that are not only visually captivating but also thoughtfully executed to solve design challenges. His portfolio includes client commissions for major corporations, as well as projects that involve touring various African countries and illustrating their unique narratives.
Through his art, Tshepo strives to celebrate Africa and its diverse people, ensuring that each piece resonates with its audience. A passionate enthusiast of fashion and sports, Tshepo infuses a relaxed, chilled vibe into his work.
His commitment to producing meaningful, award-winning creations that deliver value to clients is evident in every project he undertakes. In his spare time, Tshepo enjoys watching football, going on mountain bike rides, and indulging in the thrills of Formula 1 racing.

Brilliant work by our talent illustrator Alicia Blasco on the Parada Asalto project!
This was a series of illustrations for the tram stop in Plaza Aragón, Zaragoza. This collaboration was part of the Asalto Festival and is framed under the theme "The Energy of Cities".
With these digital illustrations, Alicia's goal was to highlight the importance of green areas as the engine that drives the heartbeat of urban environments.🌿

This project was a collaborative effort with the Embassies of France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
This unique initiative focused on engaging more women in politics and current affairs, aiming to foster greater gender inclusion and diversity in these fields. We continue to work towards a world where women have a stronger voice in shaping the future, one day at a time!
