Since starting her DJ career at the tender age of 16, Brazilian DJ/producer @blancahmusic ’s intuitive and melodic productions have earned the artist a great deal of international acclaim across clubland. Enter @hiatomusic — BLANCAh’s sonic beacon for authentic dance floor records, which she started alongside the duo Binaryh back in 2020. Each release is “an authentic expression” of BLANCAh’s heartfelt passion for the creations on her label, supported by an eye-catching artwork aesthetic that graces each record. We caught up with BLANCAh to learn more about the ethos behind her visionary imprint and to learn about some of the label’s most essential tracks.

Closing the remix series of Music For When The World Is Silent, BLANCAh invites Berlin-based duo krawalle + liebe to deliver a powerful reinterpretation of Beneath the Ground. Part of the queer feminist collective non+ultras, the duo embodies the intersection of music, politics, and emotional expression. Their journey began on the streets of Berlin during demonstrations, and this origin continues to shape their sonic language, where resistance and ecstasy coexist. In their rework of Beneath the Ground, krawalle + liebe imprint their identity through a driving fusion of bold basslines, raw textures, and an untamed, dancefloor-focused energy. Within their self-defined genre of “uplifting feminist deep trash riot bounce,” the remix transforms tension into movement and emotion into collective catharsis. More than a reinterpretation, this release marks a symbolic closing of the project, an invitation to experience dance as a form of expression, connection, and resistance. Essa é sem dúvida uma das minhas músicas favoritas. Uma parceria que fiz com minha querida amiga Mari Anna que compôs a letra e cantou “Prepare For Changing”, lançada no meu terceiro álbum. Esse remix tenho tocado em todos os meus shows e foi assinado por um artista no qual aposto todas as minhas fichas, Victor Bloom. Reconheço nele um talento impar, um ouvido apurado e uma timbragem madura, o que faz de suas composições, sejam originais ou remixes, musicas com muita identidade. Hoje compartilho com vcs este lançamento que sai pela Hiato Music e espero que vcs gostem dessa musica tanto quanto eu. . This is without a doubt one of my favorite tracks. A collaboration with my dear friend Mari Anna, who wrote the lyrics and lent her voice to Prepare For Changing, released on my third album. The remix is one I’ve been playing in all of my sets, signed by an artist I truly believe in, Victor Bloom. I see in him a rare talent, a refined ear, and a mature approach to sound design, which gives his productions, whether originals or remixes, a strong and unmistakable identity.
