This is the second chapter in my exploration of re-mediation, an ongoing experiment on how the meaning of a creation shifts as it passes through different media. What began as a 2D drawing became a 3D model, then took shape in resin, and was finally captured in photography together with Cecilia Violeta. Lately, I’ve been wondering whether the person I am on the internet resembles who I am in the real world, treating them as separate entities. Yet, one constantly affects the other. The more connected I am, the more complex my virtual persona becomes. It inspires me.

She is alone in her room, the space transforms into a stage of desire and spell. The computer becomes a portal, screen and mirror where the absence of her lover is projected. There is no certainty of his arrival, only faith.
Candles burn as love spells, flames lit with the hope of anchoring the one who is far away. The room vibrates between ritual and screenlight. Lace, fire, pixels, skin.
It is his birthday. She celebrates in solitude, offering her body as promise and her desire as prayer.
“Entre a tela e o sonho” frames the condition of long distance love, caught between absence and dream, uncertain but alive in the hope of crossing the threshold. 🔐
