my new film SOUR MINNOWS will premiere in competition at @fantasiafestival this year! this film was a love labor born in the sacred gutter underneath los angeles. i’m so proud of the small but intrepid community of beloved geniuses who lent their talents to its cause. and now i can’t wait for it to destabilize your inner ear!
i edited the motion picture HOW TO MAKE A KILLING, which comes out in theaters nationwide this friday via a24. it’s a movie movie if you know what i mean, and working on it was less a gig and more an era, since i ended up being out of the USA for about eighteen months (including a stint in south africa and an extended stay in central london). endless thanks to the team of talented souls who toiled with me in post-production, especially my stalwart coterie of assistant editors who frankly freaked it: riccardo bacigalupo, slash luthando, and ryan axe. through this project i met many now dear homies, and ultimately i’m quite proud of the movie, which is basically as tight and slick as a coiled up rattlesnake at the bottom of a greasy puddle in a parking lot. please catch it if you can!
i am a professional actor and i was cast in an incredible film by a mysterious collective. the film is called test shoot 2 and they told me it was about a test shoot of some sort. i am about to watch the film (i have never seen it). if you have access to a computer or phone, you can also watch (in my opinion) @nobudge

the very splendid @newnextfilmfest is screening many exciting films in baltimore soon, including numerous works by talented and beloved friends… i’m lucky two short films of mine are included in the program: MAGIC SOCKET (with @bridey_elliott@mitrajouhari@astupidstupidman , produced by @mountnjack , shot by @ava.benjamins ) and TEST SHOOT 2 (a film by @babbling.info aka @whereskati@mrdanieljohnson and me, featuring @malibusmostwyatt ). i only wish i could be in baltimore this year to absorb the many beautiful films, but alas im in bloody england. anyways if you are able to enjoy the festival, please do, i entreat you. and thank you to national treasure @ericallenhatchtaketwo

edited this motion picture THE YEAR BETWEEN, which is out today in theaters and on demand. it’s a crowd pleaser, worth checking out in a movie theater imo. congrats to my old friend @thementallytrillest who directed and stars in the film, as well as to everybody else who was involved. and thanks to all the pals who helped out or lent feedback along the way
