I’m excited, nervous and a little verklempt to be releasing my first new type in many years. It’s a gently contrasted text face called Soft Text and it’s out now on @futurefonts . I would love for you to check it out (link in my bio).

New work for @epicreads , the Young Adult arm of @harpercollins ! It was a pleasure to do this complete logotype refresh, including its sub brands. In a time where many logos are being replaced with a minimalist sans, it’s nice to do a script!

New work for @chasebliss ! It was a joy to collaborate with my friend and longtime design crush @ericnyffeler on this beautiful, monochromatic update of the Brothers AM pedal. The goal was something nostalgic, sleek, confident and dare I say sexy? Anyways, getting to work with friends is always the best.

New branding for @bigtoptattoospdx , a 🆕 tattoo shop here in Portland!
🎠 It’s always an honor to do work for talented queer artists, and even moreso for big-hearted cuties like @bigtoptattoospdx . I met @1_800_meat and @fruitcasket through the drag-o-sphere and it’s been a treat watching them both work so hard towards making their tattoo dreams a reality. And now they are!! Visit their cute shop on Hawthorne and tell them “hi” from Tomboy. 🎪
I’m always humbled by the response to these sketches and after much encouragement I decided to take on a limited number of commissions! If you’d like your home or a friend’s drawn, the link is in my bio!

$200, 6x8” black and white ink drawing on Bristol, with one accent color (which you can decide if you like!). Great for housewarmings or anniversaries, I’d say.
It was a total joy to work with THE Bingo Queen of Portland, @peachy_springs on some graphics for her new show at the @pam_cut Tomorrow Theater. And if you want this shirt, you’ve got to WIN a game—may the “yes gawds” be ever in your favor!

Had a lovely weekend in Seattle for @creativeworks ! It was a joy to teach a Digital Lettering Effects workshop, to meet so many new faces and to come back to Portland with calves so big they make smaller legs orbit around them. 💖 Thank you Josh and the whole team for being a treat to work with!!
Lots of new things to share, starting with a newsletter. I joined Substack, and made my first post about my personal sketchbook practice, which is a necessary outlet in the face of growing horrors. You can read about it in the link in my bio—I’ve also updated my website with new work.
